Councillor Abbott clarifies this week's changes to the Garbage and Recycling Bylaw with updated Q&A. The amendments were adopted by Council on February 3rd, 2026, and are now in effect.

This was published in response to misinformation circulated by some in the community. I thought it would be helpful to clarify the proposed garbage bylaw amendment. Are the waste collection time slots new?
